The hotpot is a communal dining tradition that originated in China. It involves a simmering pot of aromatic, flavorful flavored broth placed at the center of the dining table, where diners cook a variety of dumplings, meats, seafood, mushrooms, vegetables and noodles directly in the simmering broth. The interactive nature of hotpot dining encourages socializing and sharing as diners gather around the table to cook and enjoy their meals together.

Raclette is an interactive meal that originated in the Alpine regions of Switzerland and France. During the dining experience, a large wheel of raclette cheese is placed under the heating element of the raclette machine, where it slowly melts and becomes gooey and creamy. Meanwhile, diners gather around the table and prepare their plates with an array of accompaniments such as crispy potatoes, cured meats, pickles, vegetables, and bread. The melted cheese is then draped over the prepared accompaniments, creating a delicious and indulgent meal.

Fireflies struggle to mate in areas with light pollution. Here in June, the whole forest lights up with hundreds of fireflies, and the display is spectacular.
